Let me say this as succinctly as possible—Banyan Harbor delivers the absolute best value in Hawaii for two-bedroom condo accommodations and in a unique location. And that’s no idle claim.
The Banyan Harbor condo enclave is perched on a hillside overlooking Nawiliwili Harbor and Kalapaki Bay. On the west end of the five buildings is a remarkable Banyan tree (Kauai’s largest) impressively spreading out its massive tentacle-like limbs. On the east end, is a plateau that is home to the recreation area and pool, with terrific vistas to boot.
The two-bedroom units come in one- and two-level configurations. The one-level unit has a living room, full kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms and two baths. The two-level unit features a living room, full kitchen, dining area and half bath on the main floor with two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. There are no view categories even though there are views. Guests generally receive the best available unit at check-in. Chances are good that you will have a nice view, especially from the upstairs master bedroom in the two-level configuration. Furnishings and appointments are extremely pleasant and will meet and even exceed expectations. The housekeeping is excellent.
Banyan Harbor’s location is surprisingly convenient and just a two-minute walk from numerous restaurants and watering holes, as well as shopping. Of course, beautiful Kalapaki Bay and its lovely beach is just a five-minute walk across the street and foot bridge between JJ’s Broiler and Duke’s Canoe Club. And, the overall location couldn’t be more convenient to everything Kauai has to offer.
So, if you’re looking for nifty accommodations, lots of space, a bit of a view and want to be in the center of it all, try Banyan Harbor Resort. And by the way, the price is not just right, it's fantastic.
