It is always my pleasure to find a diamond-in-the-rough for visitors who desire a place to lodge at a budget/introductory price. The Aqua Marina surpasses the billing and you’ll get an eyeful. In fact, some of my favorite vistas up and down Oahu’s south coast are offered from these unique studio units in a slender, arrow-shaped, 39-story tower.
Aqua Marina's 136 rooms overlook Waikiki’s yacht harbor just a block from the Ala Moana Shopping Center and a host of eateries. The rooms have no lanais (patio/balcony), instead, an enormous picture window slides open to bring the outside in and provide a distinctive ambiance. Every room has a kitchenette. A lighted tennis court, pool and jet-spa adorn the property and there is plenty of indoor parking available ($10 per-day).
